I might not be as excited about make-up that I am about shoes, but when some of my favorite people collaborate with my favorite cosmetics brand, it deserves a mention. Mac recently realised their amazing collaboration with designer Gareth Pugh and while shopping in Bangkok I came across the lines of legendary icon Iris Apfel and outrageous heellover Daphne Guinness.
All above from the Gareth Pugh collection, which I'll claim right away to be not just one of the best collaborations I've ever seen but also the best cosmetic products ever produced. I don't know how that beetle nail polish was ever done, but I hope I never run out of the numerous bottles I stocked up on.
From the Daphne Guinness collection I loved the soft sorbet colours, especially the icy mint nail polish and pastel glosses. So.. only one and half month until spring.

I am a mac freak of nature but never get mad excited like my friends do when there is a collaboration. (When disney villains had that stint with mac last year one of my friends was uncontrollable!) Anyway, when I saw that Daphne Guiness was doing a range with mac i wasn't slightly interested, when I saw the range it was a whole different story! I bought nearly all of it! Including that minty colour varnish pictured above. I said to the lovely mac lady 'what involvement will Miss Guiness have actually had with creating this' and she replied 'she picked the colours'. And that was that!
Regardless of who's name they put to the collection, I still freakin well loved the make up.
The Gareth Pugh packaging was very impressive.

The Daphne Guinness collection has an incredible quad palette, as well as BEAUTIFUL Pro Longwear lip colors in Approaching Storm and Red Dwarf.
You are so right!! I just love this post. Totally like Iris and Daphne especially those mac images of them and that beetle nailpolish is stunning. The icy mint i got allready last december, I allmost finished it up as well, my jar won't make it till spring ;)
